We loved the nachos with cheese and trying out all the different types of.hot sauce on offer!

Food was good. I dig the small plates portions. Only suggestion I would serve some kind of chocolate or raspberry dipping sauce with the deep fried cheesecake.

Nice atmosphere, good service, delicious food at a reasonable price. Loved the homemade salsa with chips. I ordered "build your own burrito" with steak- Wonderful!

Las Chicas is a fantastic taqueria. I like to go for Taco Tuesday when the tacos are all BOGO. Not the cheapest taco shop around and my girlfriend tells me the quesadilla is bad. (I don't know. I just order tacos.) They also offer gluten-free options and are very accomodating. Recommend highly.Also, I really like the bathroom. I want to recreate it at home.

Very pleased with our dinner. We had it to go and enjoyed that chicken taco salad and quesedilla. The shrimp tacos were smaller than expected but tasty.

Wanted to share this ASAP as current happenings make more pertinent. We stopped by for takeout and I decided to go inside as they also provide curbside pickup. I was Very pleased to see cleanliness and distancing were No problem but more importantly, Facemasks and Rubber gloves being worn properly, surfaces being sanitized Between Customers and even hand sanitizer available for customers use! This is Not the Norm everywhere. Food was AWESOME as well as Service given. Many Thanks

First off what Mexican restaurant doesn’t have cheese dip?! Instead they have cheese chips and all that is shredded cheese sprinkled on the chips and popped in the microwave and their salsa is just chopped up tomatoes with a little seasonings spread on it. Then we got our main dish and let’s just say eww. We won’t be coming back here. On the plus side the restaurant over sees the river so we were able to sit outside and have a view of the river.

Decent place with a nice atmosphere. I was very impressed with my food the last time I was there.

If you're ever in Owego and feel like you gotta have some great Mexicali food, head for Las Chicas. Everything is super fresh n delicious. We stop in at least once a month to fulfill our need. The burritos are so good. Custom order. They offer beer and sodas to drink.

Las Chicas makes me feel like I'm back in San Diego's Old Town and the food does not disappoint! I love the chile rellenos, the tacos (shrimp and pork are my favs), the smothered burritos, and the taquitos are seriously addicting. The guacamole is made fresh with great flavor, which is so important in Mexican cuisine. The chips are fresh, crispy, salty - my favorite! It's very casual, as you order at the counter and then sit and wait for your food. You can even sit out back and get a great view of the river. Las Chicas is a must if you're in Owego or if you're willing to travel for some delicious Mexican food!

The wait was long at lunch but it was well worth it. I ordered a chicken bowl and there was a generous list of no cost add ons. I loaded up my order and when it arrived it was a chicken burrito instead of a bowl. After the amount of time we had waited, and as busy as it was, I wasn't going to complain. I especially wasn't going to complain after I tasted it. Divine. Very reasonably priced as well. If you don't mind walk up ordering, and a bit of a wait when it is busy, this is a best bet. We were visiting from out of state but we will make Las Chicas a priority any time we are near Owego.

Best Mexican on the east coast, with the added bonus of the west coast twist. Lots of healthy, vegan, or gluten free options as well

Best place to eat in Owego! Such a hidden gem with great food and a friendly staff! A very nice atmosphere within and outside the restaurant, it's truly a great place to take family and friends!

Oh man I love this place. The street tacos are my favorite, especially the fish ones! They come with this awesome slaw, and the tortillas are not just flour tortillas, they're awesome. It's really not bad priced either, but I wish they had desserts

5 stars just because this place is very cool and they have my favorite hot sauce.!!!!We enjoyed patio seating w/ our 3 fur babies....(back entrance, up spiral stairs)Food was great.....clean restrooms......nice staff......great view with a pathway below to taken a stroll.

I had went saturday night with my family I was very upset with our order I had to wait a very long time I've notice they was taking care off order outside first then the pico de gallo was only tomatoes and onion it wasn't made right steck with my tortillas wasn't cook well it was cold the only thing I like was my drink it was poor quality I'm a chef I know when I see good quality food

Delicious, authentic food. The chili lime chicken burrito is awesome, and the homemade tortillas are amazing! Clean, well kept, festive restaurant and atmosphere. The service is quick, helpful, kind and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Not a bad place. Nothing fancy here but the locals really seem to like it. Food was good and for the money wasn't too far off. Very quaint, but wished that it was just a little more authentic tasting. Otherwise, you can't go wrong.

Food was okay, but odd and not genuine to any Mexican cuisine I've ever tasted. I'd say it was more their own take on Mexican food rather than a Mexican food place. Not bad, but not at all what was expected upon ordering.

WOW!!! I wanted some tacos, and these were over the top delicious!!! I was expecting chain-style food, but this was more like fine dining!!! VERY impressive!!! Just goes to show you cannot prejudge food by restaurant's casual ambiance 👍

This has to be the best Mexican restaurant around here. I am sorry to say that with true Mexican restaurants, but I have lived in Mexico and also other Latin American countries and this place is the best...

Great burritos, tacos & enchiladas. Taco salad could use some work, as could the beans & rice. Friendly people, and it's nice to sit out on the deck when the weather is good.

Food was not good at all and way over priced. They don't even know what salsa is, they have pico. The guy cooking food goes out back to smoke in between customers. Never again!

I got a burrito, chipolte chicken specifically, and I was quite pleased. You get all the toppings/add-ins you want and for $8.00 the portion size was great. I went there hungry and the burrito satiated that perfectly.

If a taco joint doesn't serve corn tortillas, you might as well turn around and walk out. So from the start, the homemade corn tortillas at Las Chicas had my attention. The Carnitas Rajas taco is just as delicious as any taco you would find in Austin, TX. Some of their other tacos miss the mark a bit but are still tasty in their own right. The guacamole isn't as good as Chipotle for example, but I'm used to being spoiled by good tacos in the South. These are by far the best you'll find in the Southern Tier. Stop by and try them!

Delicious food for a reasonable price. I especially recommend coming for Taco Tuesday: two-for-one tacos! If the weather is good, head on out the back to one of their outdoor tables overlooking the river. Fantastic place!

Great shrimp tacos! The burritos are great too. So many options to fill them with, and it doesn't cost extra. Not quite the girth of Moe's or Chipotle, but that's OK with me.Pretty painless process too. Go up to the counter to order, sit where you want (they'll bring you your food), and (ideally) put your dishes in the bin when you're done.And try their chocolate cake. Mmm.

The steak tacos were delicious but the taco shells were chewy and difficult to eat. I let the waitress know but no Manager addressed this with me. This was my first time eating at this place. I have eaten tacos for over 30 years and these reminded me of stale taco shells that were put in a microwave in order to soften tgem a bit. The slushie had just a drip of alcohol...

I just happened to stop by (for my first time) on taco Tuesday when tacos were two for one. The food was great and the cashier was super friendly. I'll definitely be going back.

What a great burrito! The menu is excellent. So much much to choose from, but not overwhelming. I had build your own 2 meat burrito with a whole bunch of extras. I have placed simular orders other places, this was the best wrapped I have seen in a long time! Easy to eat without making a mess. The mini soft tacos were served with freshly cooked shells. Our Nacho appetizer came quickly and was amazing. Plus a very dark beer! Highly recommended.
